CARRIER PERFORMANCE™ 96 - 58UVB

    The 58UVB Upflow Variable-Capacity Condensing Gas Furnace features ComfortHeat™ Technology and IdealHumidity™ that controls a 2-Stage Gas Valve, Variable-Speed Blower Motor, and Variable-Speed Inducer Motor, for maximum heating comfort, quiet operation, humidity control and ultra-high Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) of 95%. The unit is CSA (AGA and CGA) certified for installation on combustible flooring and in alcoves, basements, closets, attics, crawl spaces, garages, or utility rooms. The 58UVB can be installed in upflow applications only, and can be used in conjunction with a split-system product for cooling. The 58UVB should only be installed as a 2-pipe venting system. A Carrier EDGE thermidistat Performance Heat Pump, can be used to form a complete Hybrid Heat Dual Fuel System.

The PERFORMANCE 96 Gas Furnace also features 4-way multipoise installation flexibility with respect to venting and air-intake pipes. All sizes are design certified in Canada.
